📖 Business Description

The Bangladesh Agricultural University Alumni Association of USA, Inc. (BAU Alumni Association of USA) is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious voluntary organization established in 2011 in New York. It serves as a professional and social network for Bangladeshi-origin graduates of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) living in the USA.

The organization unites professionals of agricultural sciences and technology, known as Krishibids (Agriculturists), who hold Bachelor degrees in any of the six disciplines of agricultural studies. BAU Alumni Association of USA aims to promote unity, professional development, and cultural enrichment among its members while strengthening ties with Bangladesh.

Goals & Activities:

• Build and maintain relations with other agricultural and related professional associations in the USA and Bangladesh.
• Support the profession of agriculture in both Bangladesh and the USA.
• Encourage development in agricultural sciences and education in Bangladesh.
• Promote professional standards among members.
• Organize social, cultural, and educational programs to foster friendly relationships among member families.
• Develop welfare funds for emergency support to member families.
• Protect the professional interests of its members.
• Promote cooperation between Bangladesh and the USA for mutual benefit.

Events:
The association hosts annual picnics, cultural events, family reunions, and celebrations of Bangladeshi national and cultural events.
